Renovation in Givatayim

A charming couple in their senior years wanted to renovate the old-fashioned home in Givatayim to suit their modern taste and bring the apartment up to date.

In the bedroom, walls were demolished leaving a large and spacious room. The room was fitted with warm parquet flooring and fitted with a wardrobe with integral television.

A new bed was purchased and laid with linen to make the room look like a typical Eastern style hotel suite.

The service room in the bathroom was totally demolished and instead replaced with porcelain tiles that look like coconut shells and large sink unit. The floor was laid with porcelain “parquet look” tiles to continue the look of the rooms.

The old-fashioned and out of date fireplace was removed from the living room and replaced with a long modern sideboard, thus providing a large storage unit and a long strip of decorative wood paneling adorns the living room wall.

A large wooden lighting fixture in the shape of a flower was hung above the dining table.

Take a look at these great snaps of before and after!
